Metalheads,

Wie ihr seht – wir haben unsere Bands zusammen!

Wieder ein bunter Haufen großartiger Gruppen; von den Hardcorelern MTFBWY und (haltet Sonntag die Augen auf!) NWoBHM Fanatikern, über eine großartige Melo-Death Band und dem Prog-Metal-Co-Head bis zum zum alles zertrümmernden Headliner!

Wie immer haben wir viel am Billing gefeilt, haben eine wirklich coole Mische zusammen bekommen und freuen uns, euch die nächsten Wochen eine Band nach der anderen vorzustellen.

Wir danken allen Bands, die sich bei uns beworben haben! Die Liste wird immer und immer länger – und für das nächste Jahr haben wir euch auch weiterhin im Auge. Versprochen!

As you can see, we’ve got our bands lined up!

Once again, it’s a colorful bunch of great groups, from hardcore bands MTFBWY and (keep your eyes peeled on Sunday!) NWoBHM fanatics, to a great melodic death metal band and prog metal co-headliners, to the headliners who will smash everything to pieces!

As always, we’ve worked hard on the billing, put together a really cool mix, and look forward to introducing you to one band after another over the next few weeks.

We would like to thank all the bands that applied to play with us! The list is getting longer and longer—and we’ll keep an eye on you for next year. Promise!

wir präsentieren euch die erste Band fürs M4M 2026:

Ihr kennt den Spruch: „Zwei Dumme, ein Gedanke.“ In diesem Fall waren es sogar drei von uns, die zwar nicht dumm, aber unabhängig voneinander auf einem Konzert der Band waren und alle drei einen Gedanken hatten: „Das wäre ein starker Opener.“ Gedacht, gesagt, getan. Hier sind sie!

Direkt aus dem Ruhrpott, der Quelle edelster metallischer Klänge, direkt ins Sauerland zu uns.

Das gibt Hardcore – und Thrashmetal im moderneren Gewand direkt und volle Kanne aufs Fressbrett.

Zu hören sind die fünf Jungs auf allen bekannten Streamingportalen oder dem eigenen Youtube-Channel – und dann am 07. November auch bei uns in Kierspe.

we proudly present the first band for the M4M 2026:

You know the saying, „Great minds think alike.“ In this case, it was actually three of us who, while not exactly fools, were all at the same concert, and all three had the same thought: „They would make a great opening act.“ No sooner said than done. Here they are!

Straight from the Ruhr area, the source of the finest metal sounds, straight to us in the Sauerland region.

This is hardcore and thrash metal in a modern guise, delivered straight to the gut.

You can hear the five guys on all major streaming platforms or their own YouTube channel – and then on November 7th, they’ll be playing for us in Kierspe.

Powergame

Aus der Stadt, die es angeblich gar nicht gibt, kommen die fünf Vollblutmetaller von Powergame und erfreuen uns mit echtem, erdigem Heavy Metal, der stark in der New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWoBHM) verwurzelt ist. Gepaart mit schnellen Riffs und eingängigen Melodien werden euch eure Kutten ein weiteres Mal schwitzend aber glücklich zurücklassen.

Bis es so weit ist, könnt ihr euch ja selbst schon mal ein Bild machen. Mit „Beast On The Attack“ (2015), „Masquerade“ (2019), „The Lockdown Tapes“ (2021) und „Slaying Gods“ (2022) wartet jede Menge Songmaterial, das entdeckt oder wieder gehört werden will.

Powergame

Hailing from the city that allegedly doesn’t exist, the five full-blooded metallers of Powergame are coming to delight us with real, earthy Heavy Metal that is deeply rooted in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). Combined with fast riffs and catchy melodies, your battle vests will once again leave you sweaty but happy.

Until then, you can check them out for yourselves. With ‚Beast on the Attack‘ (2015), ‚Masquerade‘ (2019), ‚The Lockdown Tapes‘ (2021), and ‚Slaying Gods‘ (2022), there is plenty of material waiting to be discovered or heard again.

Darkness Surrounding

Die fünfköpfige Melo-Death-Band aus Wuppertal erweitert das „Leck-mich-fett-Lineup“ fürs M4M 2026 mit treibenden Riffs, fetten Growls und saftigen Breakdowns. Mit „Reality Unreal“ (2022) und „Is there Salvation?“ (2025) beweist die Band ihre Wandlungsfähigkeit: Das Quintett verbindet Melodic-Death mit Elementen aus Modern Metal, Power Metal, Alternative und Metalcore zu einem vielschichtigen Gesamtsound. Und sollten wir an dieser Stelle was vergessen haben… Die Band ist eben brutal vielseitig. Hört am besten schon mal rein und trainiert schon mal euren Nacken und eure Moshpit-Qualitäten.

Darkness Surrounding

The five-piece melodic death metal band from Wuppertal expands the „kick-ass“ lineup for M4M 2026 with driving riffs, heavy growls, and massive breakdowns. With „Reality Unreal“ (2022) and „Is there Salvation?“ (2025), the band proves their versatility: the quintet combines Melodic Death with elements of Modern Metal, Power Metal, Alternative, and Metalcore into a multi-layered overall sound. And if we’ve forgotten anything at this point… the band is simply brutally versatile. Better give them a listen now and start training your neck and your mosh pit skills.

wir präsentieren euch die vierte Band fürs M4M 2026:
Ivory Tower

Rückblick: Wir sind irgendwo in den 1970er Jahren. Ein kleiner Jung läuft in Kiel mit einem Bastkörbchen durch einen kleinen Garten, sucht im Schnee Ostereier. Dass seine Eltern die gefunden schnell wieder verstecken ist unbewiesen, aber anzunehmen.

Ein paar Jahre später: Der Junge ist ein Teenager und geht mit seiner Cousine in die Räucherei, ein Kult Club in der Ostseestadt. ZZ Top ist damals seine Lieblingsband, La Grange der Song, zu dem er auf der Tanzfläche alles gibt.
Viele Jahre später: Der Junge hat mittlerweile kaum noch Haare, ZZ Top zählt immer noch zu seinen Lieblingsbands und sein Sohn musste die Verarsche mit den Ostereiern schon vor Jahren über sich ergehen lassen.

Was auch gleich ist: Kiel ist immer noch irgendwie in seinem Kopf, in seinem Herzen.

Da flattert eine Mail in den Briefkasten: Eine Band aus der „Baltic Bay Area Kiel“ bewirbt sich. Und zwar jedes Jahr neu! Und 2026 ist es dann endlich soweit: IVORY TOWER kommen nach Kierspe!

Großartiger Power-Prog, fantastische Vocals und eine wirklich fette Show erwarten euch! Die Band durfte schon auf dem Wacken und dem Baltic Open Air ran, hat in Hamburg für Beyond The Black eröffnet.

Seit ihrer Gründung 1996 hat sie bereits sieben Alben veröffentlicht und arbeitet zurzeit an Nummer acht. Hoffen wir mal, dass wir im November neuen Stoff hören können.

Funfacts, Nummer 1: Björn (Bass), Thrunke (Drums) + Sven (Gitarre) wurden als Darsteller der 92er Band SAXON in der RTL+ Serie „The Legend of Wacken“ gecastet, die gerade bei RTL Plus/Nitro ausgestrahlt wurde!
Nummer 2: Der Garten, in dem der Verfasser dieser Zeilen vor fast 50 Jahren die Ostereier sammelte, liegt am Schulweg des Gitarristen Sven.

So schließen sich Kreise.

We present to you the fourth band for M4M 2026:
Ivory Tower

Flashback: It’s somewhere in the 1970s. A little boy is running through a small garden in Kiel with a raffia basket, searching for Easter eggs in the snow. Whether his parents quickly hide them again is unproven, but likely.

A few years later: The boy is a teenager and goes with his cousin to the Räucherei, a cult club in the Baltic Sea city. ZZ Top is his favorite band at the time, and La Grange is the song he dances to with abandon on the dance floor.

Many years later: The boy now has hardly any hair left, ZZ Top is still one of his favorite bands, and his son had to endure the Easter egg prank years ago.

But one thing hasn’t changed: Kiel is still somehow in his head, in his heart.

Then an email flutters into the mailbox: a band from the „Baltic Bay Area Kiel“ is applying. Every year! And in 2026, the time has finally come: IVORY TOWER is coming to Kierspe!

Great power prog, fantastic vocals, and a really awesome show await you! The band has already played at Wacken and Baltic Open Air and opened for Beyond The Black in Hamburg.

Since its formation in 1996, it has released seven albums and is currently working on number eight.

Let’s hope we get to hear some new material in November.

Fun facts, number 1: Björn (bass), Thrunke (drums), and Sven (guitar) were cast as members of the 1992 band SAXON in the RTL+ series „The Legend of Wacken,“ which was just broadcast on RTL Plus/Nitro!
Number 2: The garden where the author of these lines collected Easter eggs almost 50 years ago is located on guitarist Sven’s way to school.
So things come full circle.
